Bilbao is the base for most tours on the site. In the city itself, the e-bike ride links the old town, river bridges and parks. Beyond it, the Forest Gravel Loop heads east on pine-forest tracks, the Volcano Gravel Day and Riverside Gravel Intro cover gravel of different severity, the Greenway Easy Day follows an old railway path towards the coast, and the Big Climb Morning tackles a hard ascent. Choose by effort first: the city ride, the greenway and the riverside gravel intro are easy, the forest gravel loop is moderate, and the big climb morning and volcano day are hard.
Bilbao offers a mix of city riding, river paths and hills within reach of the centre. You can finish a morning ride and be back in town for lunch. The range of tours means beginners and strong riders can both find something suitable from the same base.
Spring and autumn are the most reliable months for comfortable riding. Summer suits early starts, and winter rides can be wet and short on daylight. Check the forecast before gravel days, as tracks can become muddy after heavy rain.
Bilbao Airport is the main entry point, and the city has a metro, trams and trains that make central meeting points easy to reach without a car. Check each tour page for the exact start.
The Old Town E-Bike Ride and the climbing and gravel days are guided. The Greenway Easy Day is described as at your own pace, so it suits riders who prefer to set their own rhythm.
